A memory with…
この諸島の海図にはドクロマークがいくつかある。
このドクロが何を表すのか、島の人に聞くと
「核実験地だった。」
という、答え。
ここは自然というサンゴ礁が長年に渡り作り上げた環礁により、
穏やかな水面が続く場所。
どこかの偉い人はこの海の中で核実験をしたら、
人に被害はない。と、考えたのでしょうか？
ドクロマークのある場所は水中核実験が行われた環礁で、
その島の食べ物は食べれない。
魚も採ってはいけない。
採れても、食べてはいけない。
無論、そこに行ってはいけない。
と、教えてもらった。
ちゃんと調べていないので、実際のルールは知りません。
しかし、上記に述べた事が、現地の人の教えてでした。
こんなに美しい海で、
あんなにも素晴らしい思い出をもらった海で、
こんなに悲しいことがあるとは、思わなかった。
人間とはなんだろう？と考えても、答えはでない。
珊瑚礁は核実験をしてもらうために環礁を作ったのでしょうか？
珊瑚礁は自分たちと共に暮らす生物の為に、環礁を作ったのではないのはないでしょうか？
I have another memory that is continuing the story, A memory with…, with dolphins.
There are a few skull marks on the sea chart.
I asked the local people about the skull marks, and they told me ‘It is the Nuclear test sites’.
The nuclear test sites are in the atolls.
We mustn’t eat any foods that are from there.
We mustn’t catch the fishes in there.
Of course, we mustn’t go there.
I’m not sure about the actual rule because I just got the information from them.
It is really sad so that there are so beautiful by nature and they gave amazing memories.
What is human?
I can’t say enough about the question.
In my opinion, the corals won’t make atoll for the Nuclear test, they did for nature.
