山火事の原因は様々で落雷、放火、タバコやキャンプファイヤーの残り火、鉄道ブレーキの際に発生する火花ですらも原因とは驚いた。
コアラが25,000頭、kangaroo islandで。
8000頭がNSWでこの世を去りました。
野生動物全体では1億頭を超えているとか。
